Welcome to Puppy Life Skills!
Puppy Life Skills is a training course based in Brighton. It is designed to teach your puppy how to cope with life in a domestic environment.
What do we do?
Our aim is to educate new and previous dog owners on current and relevant information in the dog world to ensure you have a healthy and happy, well balanced canine friend for life.
What does the course cover?
The sessions will provide you with lots of information, including:
Socialisation and Habituation;
Relevant Legislation; and
Why is it important?
Socialisation and habituation are essential for all pups under the age of 16-18 weeks. When done correctly it will help to prevent behavioural problems such as fear, anxiety and even aggresion.
Puppy Life Skills classes are run by an experienced qualified Veterinary Nurse & a qualified dog trainer & pet behaviourist.
Puppy Life Skills Classes
The course consists of two classes which take place on the same weekday evening over two weeks. Each session starts at 7pm and is around an hour long. The classes take place at Coastway Vets Brighton Surgery.
The cost of the course is £30.00 (for both sessions) which we ask to be paid at the time of booking. At the end of each class you will also receive training information, which is all included in this fee.
The puppies need to be between 8 weeks and 16 weeks of age at the start of the course, and have had at least their first vaccination.
